Our food system needs fixing. Around 40% of all food in the U.S. is wasted daily. Yes, daily! We started Scraps to do something about this. We create the most delicious frozen pizza out there, and we set out to reduce waste by incorporating imperfect and underused veggies in our sauces. For example, did you know broccoli actually has edible leaves and a pepper can grow multi-colored? Yeah, at first, we didn't either. We use these delicious and nutritious vegetables that are often left in the field, for no good reason, to make Scraps. So enjoy a slice, and feel confident that you did good for yourself and for the planet.

THE CRUST

Our pizza crust is unlike any other frozen pie out there. We buy fresh, stone-ground wheat made from local NY state organic grain. The mills we source from grind the entire wheat plant, unlike industrial steel-mills, who strip grains down to create a softer, more processed flour. By using the whole plant, we avoid waste, retain vital nutrients and create a dough with killer flavor. After several hours of resting and rising, our dough is hand stretched and fired up in a screaming hot oven; hence, that irresistible crunch!
